It's over...
But also just beginning.
Events From Week 23
Series 65 test and coding project.
Took my first exam in a high school computer lab.
Well, not the first-ever exam in a high school computer lab.
But the first financial certification exam.
The HyperLiquid Position Manager feels pretty close to a complete project.

New Year’s and Christmas make the trading week short.
I tried to jump in for a half day and paid the price for lower liquidity.
What I Built / Shipped / Posted
Work continues on the various coding projects. I’m REALLY close to having something to put out publicly. One of those will be a dashboard where people can see the market filtered the way I do and how I evaluate asset quality for trading.
What I Learned
“It never stops...”
Burying the lede, so to fill you all in, I passed the Series 65 exam, so that’s really nice—one down (I think it’s the second easiest one) and five more to go. With that out of the way, I have to figure out the best way to get set up to formally take on investor capital. This will take a lot of research and deliberation before I can do that, though. I do have interested parties, though, so that’s really exciting.
I need to email all the respondents to my investor interest inquiry.
I also need to get back to logging some consulting hours.
I also need to keep working on my coding projects and finally put one to market.
I also need to finish my quarterly analysis and publish that piece.
I also need to start studying for the next certification, the SIE.
I’m glad I don’t have a motivation problem…

🤪 Off-Topic Corner
My Current Location: Hoi An, Vietnam
Like everyone else during the pandemic, I got into the sourdough thing. It went pretty well, but holy crap, there’s a sourdough bakery less than 5 minutes away from our new place, and this was probably the best sourdough, avocado, and egg breakfast I’ve had… ever. The sourdough was perfect, in all the ways it was supposed to be. Also, holy crap, two slices were almost too much. One would have suited me just fine.
